Akinleye Ronke

Ronke Akinleye acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Statistics from the prestigious University of Lagos and attained MBA degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors of Nigeria (MIoD).

She has over 17 years of experience in the mortgage industry and proven track record of achievement with exceptional skills in formulation & implementation of strategy, acquisition of customers, relationship management, credit underwriting, risk management, real estate investment and business development. She is an innovative team builder with strong leadership and people management skills.

She has participated and attended various trainings over the years from the commencement of her banking career as an Executive Trainee with Mustard Seed Mortgage Bank and later joined Global Trust Savings & Loans (a subsidiary of IGI Group) in 2004.

In 2006, she moved to Oceanic Homes Savings & Loans Limited (a subsidiary of Oceanic Bank International Plc.) as the Credit & Mortgage Officer. Afterwards, she joined Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank (formerly known as GTHomes Limited) in 2007 and rose to the heights of Group Head, Mortgages Group of the Bank.

She is currently the Executive Director, Business Development & Operations at Gateway Mortgage Bank Limited.
