PROFILE
ESV ‘Wale Ojo is an experienced professional in the built environment with over Thirty years in the Public Sector policies formulation and implementation in Real Estate Development, Real Estate Investment Analysis, Mortgages, Land Administration and Management and Urban and Regional Planning. Born over five decades ago in the Abeokuta South Local Government area of Ogun State.
He was educated at the Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta where he graduated and was awarded Diploma in Town & Regional Planning. He proceeded to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and obtained Bachelor’s Degree Honours (B.Sc Hons) in Estate Management. He also obtained Master of Business Management and Masters in Housing Development and Management from the University of Ibadan and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Graduate Diploma, College of Estate Management, University of Reading, United Kingdom. He is also Certified PRINCE2 PROJECT Management practitioner among others.
He is also a registered Town Planner and Professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, UK. the status he attained after successfully completing the moral, academic and professional requirements of both NITP/TOPREC and the RICS, UK.
He was employed at the Ogun State housing Corporation as Estate Surveyor and rose through the ranks leading various teams and attaining the position of Director Estate and Planning taking responsibilities for public sectors policies formulations and implementation on Housing Development, Land Management, Real Estate Appraisals, Mortgages and Town and Regional Planning for the Organization among others;
Prior to his appointment as the Acting General Manager of the Ogun State Housing Corporation, Wale Ojo played active roles in the implementation of the following projects among others;
He was the Team Lead/Chief Lands Officer in the acquisition and Development of 100 Housing Units using locally sourced building materials (Now called Presidential Mandate Scheme; (Completed)
Team Lead Senior Estate Surveyor in the Preparation and defense of feasibility and viability appraisal of the Ogun State Housing Corporation’s application at the Federal Mortgage Bank for N300,000,000.00 Real Estate Development Loan (Granted and now fully repaid).
ESV ‘Wale Ojo was appointed in June, 2020 as the General Manager of the Ogun State Housing Corporation by His Excellency – Prince (DR) Dapo Abiodun, CON, The Executive Governor of Ogun State.
Wale Ojo sit on the board of some organizations such as Gateway Mortgage Bank Ltd., Zenith Professional Training Ltd, etc. He is also is a member of several professional bodies nationally and internationally, among them are (He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, United Kingdom.
Registered Surveyor and Valuer by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON).
A Chartered Surveyor at Royal Institution Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdom.
Associate of Nigerian Institute of Management.
Member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planner (NITP).
Certified Mortgage Adviser (Level 3 Cemap) Institute of Financial Services, (IFS,UK,)

Presently, he is a Non-Executive Director of Gateway Mortgage Bank Limited.
He is married to Oluremi and the marriage is blessed with children.
