Fari-Arole, Abiodun Rasaq

PROFILE

Arc. Abiodun Fari-Arole was born 27th December, 1958. He attended Ijebu Ode Grammar School, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State between 1971 and 1975. Between 1976 and 1978, he attended Federal Government College, Odogbolu, Ogun State where he completed his H.S.C. “A” Levels. He obtained B.Sc. (Hons) in Architecture in 1983 from University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and in 1985 he obtained Master’s Degree with Distinctions from the same institution. He is a registered member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA). He worked briefly with International Consulting Architects (ICA) as a Youth Corp Member in 1981 and as Assistant Project Director, Physical Planning Department, Lagos State University (LASU) between 1985 – 1986. Until his appointment as the Special Adviser to the Governor of Ogun State on Housing and Managing Director of Ogun State Property & Investment Corporation (OPIC), he was the Managing Partner Grids Associates Ltd. (Design & Turnkey Projects). He is a member of Ikoyi Club 1938 Lagos, IBB Golf Club, Abuja and Capital Club, Dubai.

He is a Non-Executive Director of Gateway Mortgage Bank Limited.
