OLAMIDE IPADEOLA
PROFILE
Olamide Ipadeola is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She bagged her Bachelor of Laws and Masters of Laws from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2007 and 2012 respectively. She attended the Nigeria Law School, Abuja Campus and was called to Nigerian Bar in the year 2008. She is a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
She has over 15 years’ experience which cross-across contract negotiations, corporate, commercial, banking, property management and labour law practice.
She had her legal training at Oye Esan & Co and also worked in the firms of B.E Oni &Co, BBC Professionals {Formerly Balogun Badejo &CO. (Chartered Accountants) and SKEB (Secretaries) Limited where she rose from the rank of an associate to Senior Associate.
She joined Gateway Mortgage Bank Limited in the year 2016 and presently the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser.
She participates in contract negotiation, settled documentation in respect of contracts, property management and also the adviser to the Bank on commercial, banking and mortgage law practice. She initiated the Foreclosure Bill in Ogun State and Gateway Mortgage Bank Limited is the co-sponsor of the Foreclosure Bill in the 8th and 9th Assembly of the Ogun State House of Assembly which has now been passed into Law in year 2021.
She was a Non-Executive Council Member of Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria (MBAN) and the Association’s Legal Adviser from 2017-2021. She assisted the Association in changing its Board of Trustees at the Corporate Affairs Commission in the year 2021 after several years of bottlenecking and amending its Constitution to reflect present realities.
She has a special interest in less privileged people in the society and participates in social work programmes within her community.
