Peter Olanipekun is the Head of Credit and Mortgage at Gateway Mortgage Bank, bringing over two decades of multidisciplinary experience spanning Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Information Technology, EPC, and other key sectors.
Before joining Gateway Mortgage Bank, he held strategic roles in AG Mortgage Bank Plc, Oceanic Bank Plc, and Ecobank, where he built deep expertise in Finance, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Loan Management. His extensive background has equipped him with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling him to consistently deliver on complex assignments and major organizational projects.
A seasoned professional and cross-industry expert, Peter is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and MBA, reflecting a solid academic foundation that supports his leadership and technical competence.
